Last Saturday, I got a job as an event photographer for P&G's Business Challenge. It wasn't much but I had to rush to 4 different locations within 4 hours to take photos. With the traffic and distance between Klang, Kelana Jaya, Kota Damansara, and Puchong, I didnt manage to get to all 4. I only managed to get to Klang and Kelana Jaya. But I did reach Kota Damansara but the event there has ended. I was walking around the Giant concourse looking for the event booth but couldn't find it so I ask one of the Giant's staff, the manager on duty if I'm not mistaken. And boy he was RUDE! I asked him nicely if he knows where the booth is. But he said he didn't know anything about the P&G challenge. I was surprised because he's the manager and he was supposed to know about it. Plus, those participants met him on Thursday. So anyways, I explained and described the event nicely to him but he said, "Saya takkan layan awak kalau tak register." With this unpleasant tone and facial expression. Pukimak la kau. Dah la on Thursday pun he was being super extra rude and cocky to us. Even the other staff, who is more superior than him, was polite to us. The nicer staff spoke to us nicely and told us things we should and should not do. But the stupid cocky bastard was yelling like an imbecile. Pffft. Jangan pandang rendah sangat even if we're still students. Walaupun pangkat tinggi tapi kau tu kerja Giant je tak payah nak cocky sangat la uncle. Belagak. Pfft! Sakit hati aku haritu. It was a very stressful day. I was so scared that the P&G boss would get mad me at me since I managed to get photos at only 2 of the locations. Then at 7pm was supposed to be the dinner, at Italiannies, Sunway Pyramid. So I went there at 7pm but then the event started at 8pm until 9pm. But we agreed on the quotation I send earlier that it was supposed to start at 6pm till 9pm. At the end of the day, the boss told me to revise the quotation. I was fine with it because since I was not able to go to the other 2 locations earlier but the dinner shouldn't be counted as well since it them who came late, not me. Haih. Anyway I was too pissed with that asshole Giant staff to care about anything. Bodoh. Oh and I sent a complaint to Giant via their website. I hope they'll do something about it.
But all in all it was a fun experience, I get to met and talk to many people. A great thing to boost my confidence level. =P
